I'm a comic book artist currently working on Captain America & Bucky with Ed Brubaker and Marc Andreyko.

I've done art for Thor: The Mighty Avenger (Marvel Comics), Serenity: The Shepherd's Tale (Dark Horse Comics), Area 10 (DC/Vertigo), The Mighty (DC), X-Men vs. Agents of Atlas (Marvel), Capote in Kansas (Oni Press), Dead of Night: Devil Slayer (Marvel) and Queen & Country (Oni) amongst many other things.

Mr. Samnee, I don't know if you'll have time to read this, but I just wanted to thank you for your contribution to both Thor: The Mighty Avenger and Siege: Embedded. While I also found the writing to be really good in both, I was mainly drawn to both for your artwork, which I think has a perfect blend of realism and fantastical. For instance, I fell in love with your visual portrayal of Volstagg.

The simple, yet immensely effective lines, as well as the realistic anatomy coupled with the charming, almost old-timey, cartoon-ish (I hope you don't take offense to that. When I say 'cartoon-ish' I mean it reminds me of something akin to Mr. Bruce Timm's work.) quality of the very expressive faces added so much soul to both stories.

You really the capture characters perfectly, in my opinion, and I can't wait to finally get started on your run on Captain America. I think your style lends itself very well to Cap too, from what I've seen here and on your blog.

I also feel like I should commend you on your inking and shading, especially the way you play with shadows.

Anyway, thank you for making my experiences with both comics so enjoyable.

just heard that you were gonna be doing some issues of Daredevil.CONGRATULATIONS! frankly i think this is an incredible match with the work that has been done on the current 9 issues. I had thought you would make an excellent match, and now its happening... dream come true... i'm so pumped
